Job description

Registered Nurses - Central West and Central Coast

Central Coast & Central West NSW | Community Nursing | Regional Opportunities

Make a difference where it matters most – in the comfort of someone's home.

At Aspen Medical, we believe exceptional healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live. As a global healthcare provider with a strong commitment to delivering quality care across Australia, we're looking for passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join an exciting upcoming community healthcare initiative across the Central Coast and Central West regions of New South Wales.

This is an opportunity to step outside the traditional clinical environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians, helping them maintain their health, independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Working autonomously while supported by an experienced clinical team, you'll have the opportunity to build genuine connections with your patients, use your full range of nursing skills and deliver personalised care that has a lasting impact.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver meaningful, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes, supporting their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualised care plans and monitor changes in patients' health and care needs.
  • Provide a diverse range of clinical nursing services, including wound management, medication administration, continence care, chronic disease management and post-hospital care.
  • Work independently across scheduled community visits, exercising your clinical judgement to identify risks, respond to changing needs and escalat[e] concerns appropriately.
  • Build trusted relationships with patients, families, carers, GPs and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, compassionate and effective care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, safety and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated nursing experience across community health, home care, aged care, primary healthcare or acute clinical environments.
  • Strong clinical assessment capabilities, including experience in wound management, comprehensive nursing assessments and individualised care planning.
  • Confidence working autonomously, with sound clinical judgement, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration.
  • A compassionate, adaptable and patient-focused approach, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting older Australians.
  • A current, full Australian driver's licence, confidence using clinical technology and a willingness to travel throughout regional and rural communities.

Your skills can make an extraordinary difference beyond the hospital walls.

At Aspen Medical, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a healthcare service that places people, communities and quality care at its heart.

  • Make a genuine impact: Help older Australians remain safe, healthy and independent in the place they feel most comfortable.
  • Enjoy greater clinical autonomy: Put your nursing expertise to work in a diverse and rewarding community environment.
  • Experience variety in your working day: Support patients with a broad range of clinical needs while working across local communities.
  • Be part of something meaningful: Join an established healthcare organisation committed to improving access to quality healthcare.
