Job summary

The GEO Group Australia is hiring at Fulham Correctional Centre near Sale, Victoria, offering full-time or part-time nursing roles in a correctional setting. You will provide emergency care, lead nurse-led clinics, promote health, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.

Salary ranges are based on years of nursing experience, with base figures between 104,471.59 and 111,076.22 AUD for full-time roles, excluding shift loading and other allowances.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and coordinate nurse-led clinics.

• Conduct health care assessments and disperse medications (prescription & non-prescription).

Fulham Correctional Centre is part of The GEO Group Australia, based near Sale, regional Victoria and delivers comprehensive, professional, nursing services in a correctional setting.

Our work is fast paced, and your role could include emergency care, coordinating and delivering nurse-led clinics, health promotion activities, liaising with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating care, conducting health care assessments, and dispersing prescription and non-prescription medications.

We work 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday and 10-hour shifts Saturday to Sunday. Full-time employees work 7 shifts per fortnight on a rotated basis.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of proven relevant nursing experience against the current Fulham Correctional Centre Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2024. Salaries are exclusive of any applicable shift loading, penalty rates and other allowances. Base salary range is between:

• Full-time from $104,471.59 - $111,076.22
• Part-Time from $50.23 - $53.40 p/h
