The GEO Group Australia invites applications for full-time or part-time nursing roles at Fulham Correctional Centre, near Sale in regional Victoria. You will provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic corrections environment and participate in nurse-led clinics, emergency care, health promotion, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

Base salaries are competitive within the Fulham Correctional Centre Nurses Enterprise Agreement, with shift loading and allowances as applicable.

Qualifications

• Professional nursing experience in a correctional or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and routine nursing care within a correctional setting.
• Coordinate and deliver nurse-led clinics and health promotion activities.
• Liaise with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient care.
• Conduct health assessments and review care plans.
• Dispense prescribed medications and manage stock as required.

Fulham Correctional Centre is part of The GEO Group Australia, based near Sale, regional Victoria and delivers comprehensive, professional, nursing services in a correctional setting.

Our work is fast paced, and your role could include emergency care, coordinating and delivering nurse-led clinics, health promotion activities, liaising with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating care, conducting health care assessments, and dispersing prescription and non-prescription medications.

We work 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday and 10-hour shifts Saturday to Sunday. Full-time employees work 7 shifts per fortnight on a rotated basis.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of proven relevant nursing experience against the current Fulham Correctional Centre Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2024. Salaries are exclusive of any applicable shift loading, penalty rates and other allowances. Base salary range is between:

• Full-time from $104,471.59 - $111,076.22 p.a.
• Part-Time from $50.23 - $53.40 p/h
