Job summary

IRT Group in Australia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our William Beach Gardens team. You will deliver person-centred nursing care, develop care plans and work with a collaborative team to support residents’ health and quality of life.

Suitable candidates hold a Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration, with experience in aged care. We offer flexible shifts and not-for-profit salary packaging to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical ageing issues including dementia and managing challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to residents.
• Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review care plans.
• Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Administer medications, treatments and wound care per best practice.
• Monitor residents' health and document changes accurately.
• Lead infection prevention and control practices and outbreak management.
• Mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the care team.

About the Role

We're looking for compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join IRT William Beach Gardens

As a registered nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care that enhances the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that shares your commitment to making every day meaningful for those in our care.

Super exciting offer:

• - Hourly base rate between $46.60 - $59.21 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on the experience.

We currently have 3 x Permenant Part Time Opportunities to work AM, PM and Night Shifts

How You’ll Make a Difference

• - Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• - Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• - Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• - Complete admission, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
• - Administer medications, treatments and wound care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
• - Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition and document care accurately.
• - Lead infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak management.
• - Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
• - Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• - Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• - Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• - A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
• - Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment
