Catholic Healthcare Limited in Unanderra is seeking casual registered nurses to provide direct clinical care to residents and lead the personal care team. You will follow best practice nursing procedures and policies, while maintaining safety for residents and staff.

The role requires AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and strong knowledge of aged care standards; Police Check and NDIS clearance are requested. Competitive hourly rates and not-for-profit benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
• Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.

About The Role

• Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
• Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team

To be successful in this role you'll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age - related health issues
• Strong coaching/training skills
• Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Competent IT skills
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
