North West Hospital and Health Service in Mount Isa invites applications for a part-time, 18-month role to develop midwifery skills within a supportive maternity service. You will rotate across antenatal, birthing, postnatal and neonatal care while studying toward your Graduate Certificate in Midwifery.
The program supports hands-on experience with an experienced team, focusing on professional development and improved outcomes for women and families in North West Queensland.
Gain hands-on experience across all facets of maternity care while completing your Graduate Certificate in Midwifery. Work alongside an experienced and supportive team, rotate through the Birthing Unit, Antenatal and Postnatal services, and Special Care Nursery, and build the skills needed to become a Registered Midwife.
