Job summary

Healthcarelink Support in Hobart is seeking enthusiastic, flexible Registered Nurses to join aged care teams. You will support residents in daily living, assess care needs, plan with residents, and deliver clinical and personal care with a focus on independence and well-being.

The role requires AHPRA RN registration, Bachelor of Nursing, First Aid, NDIS clearance and Australian work entitlements. Benefits include relocation assistance, flexible hours and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain and maintain it.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Vaccination: two doses and booster per Immunisation History Statement.
• Eligible to work in Australia with valid entitlements.

Job description

This client has multiple roles in two locations within 30 mins of Hobart who are able to take (9) shifts per fortnight or more including residential care, community care and independent living housing options.

They are seeking enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Registered Nurses with a passion for working with the elderly to join their teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Supporting residents and clients with respect to their independence and making informed choices about their care
• Undertake initial and ongoing assessment and planning for care in partnership with the resident, with a focus on optimising health and well-being in accordance with the resident’s needs, goals and preferences.
• Contribute to and lead the facilities approach to the delivery of safe and effective services and support for daily living including, clinical care and personal care in accordance with the resident’s needs, goals and preferences to optimise independence, health, well-being and quality of life.
• Implementing and maintaining care plans
• A high level of organisational and prioritisation skills and an ability to multi-task;
• A commitment to quality continuous improvement;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing qualification
• A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division I
• A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake and maintain the equivalent throughout employment
• An approved NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or a willingness to undertake one
• The provision of an Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register confirming that the applicant has received a minimum of two doses and Booster of the COVID-19 Vaccination
• Valid Australian Work Entitlements.
