Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Gippsland is seeking a Registered Nurse (Tanjil) to join the team on a full‑time or part‑time ongoing basis. The role delivers high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care in an acute medical and surgical environment within a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration, acute clinical experience, and a commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse (Tanjil) to join our growing team on a full time or part time ongoing basis.

The Registered Nurse (Tanjil) delivers high ‑ quality, patient ‑ centred nursing care within an acute medical and surgical environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care to achieve the best possible health outcomes for patients while ensuring their wellbeing remains the primary focus of care.

The position contributes to a safe, responsive and evidence ‑ based model of care, supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey while maintaining professional nursing standards and continuous professional development.

The role of the Registered Nurse (Tanjil) is to:

  • Deliver safe, high ‑ quality nursing care through comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Apply critical thinking and clinical judgement to support evidence ‑ based nursing practice and decision ‑ making.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic and professional relationships with patients, families, carers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care and achievement of patient goals.
  • Maintain professional capability through ongoing learning, reflective practice and participation in professional development activities.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and compliance with organisational policies, professional standards and NSQHS requirements.
About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Appropriate clinical skills and experience in acute medical and/or surgical nursing.
  • Evidence of recent clinical experience and ongoing professional development.
