Latrobe Regional Health invites applications for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our expanding team. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across the patient journey, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a safe and supportive environment.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, maintaining documentation and contributing to safety and quality initiatives while upholding person-centred care and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and active clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families in a compassionate, respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with standards and policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a Casual Basis.

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and person-centred treatment throughout their healthcare journey. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to achieve positive health outcomes while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to:

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to support safe and effective care.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring care is person-centred, compassionate, and respectful.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support continuity of treatment, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and patient safety initiatives to support excellence in clinical practice.
About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
