Job summary

Catholic Healthcare in Orange, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care to residents in our aged care home. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will lead the personal care team, ensure best practice, and follow all policies.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.

• Permanent Part Time - Week 1 - Wed & Sun ND. Week 2 - Tue Wed Fri Sun ND
• Shift time - 21.30pm to 07.15am
• Pay rate - $48 - $60.30 per hour + superannuation + Shift loading

Reporting directly to the Care Manager at St Francis Orange, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About The Role

• Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures

• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you'll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age - related health issues
• Strong coaching/training skills
• Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Competent IT skills
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
