Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct clinical care to residents at our NSW aged care home. You will support a person-centred approach and assist with coordination of care under the Care Manager's supervision.

You will lead and coach the personal care team, contribute to quality standards, and ensure safe practice in line with Aged Care legislation. AHPRA registration and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
• Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of aging and related health issues.
• Strong coaching/training skills.
• Effective conflict resolution with high emotional intelligence.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Competent IT skills.
• Willingness to apply for Police Check and NDIS clearance.

• Location - St Paul's - Northbridge
• Permanent Part Time - Tuesday & Wednesday Night shift & Friday Afternoon shift
• Pay rate – $48.50 - $60.30 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

To be successful in this role you’ll need
