Job summary

North Shore Private Hospital – St Leonards Park NSW is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our busy Perioperative Scrub/Scout team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis. You will help deliver intraoperative care and support patient safety across the perioperative continuum.

You must hold current AHPRA registration and have at least 12 months scrub/scout experience, with strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

• Minimum 12 months' experience in scrub/scout.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate and deliver perioperative care across the continuum.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in a friendly, collaborative environment? We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our busy Perioperative Scrub/Scout team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.

About the Role

As part of the theatre team, you will ensure patient safety and clinical excellence throughout the perioperative continuum, providing skilled intraoperative assistance during surgical procedures. As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)
• Minimum 12 months' experience in scrub/scout
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from$40.24 - $56.52+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
