Job summary

John Flynn Private Hospital on the Gold Coast invites experienced Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Scrub/Scout team in permanent part-time or casual roles. You will provide specialised perioperative care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, a minimum of two years perioperative scrub/scout experience, and strong communication. Enjoy a modern private hospital setting close to beaches with flexible rostering and a range of employee

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative experience as Scrub/Scout nurse.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in scrub/scout role.
• Support patient care in a private hospital environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe anesthesia and recovery.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain infection control standards and documentation.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Minimum2 years' perioperative experience as aScrub/Scout nurse
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
• Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situation
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

Remuneration:

On offer for this role is a base hourly rate ranging from $39.96 - $54.01+ superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 Gr1-Gr8*).
