Ozcare in Rockhampton is seeking Registered Nurses to support our clients in the community, delivering high-quality, evidence‑based care across all age groups, including complex wound care, palliative care and chronic disease management.

You’ll perform initial assessments, develop and coordinate care plans with families and the multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, administer medications, document accurately and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Formación

• Immunisation proof or willingness to become vaccinated against Measles, MMR, Varicella and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
• Current National Police Check (valid within past 3 years)
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• Current CPR Certificate
• Good computer and mobile device skills

We have a casual opportunity available for Registered Nurses supporting our clients within the Rockhampton locale and surrounding suburbs.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse you’ll be looking after the most important people in our organisation – our clients. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across all age groups within the community, supporting a variety of clinical needs include complex wound care, palliative care, medication administration and chronic disease management. Your tasks will include:

• Initial assessment of client needs and implementation of ongoing care, including coordination, case management and care planning
• Delivering holistic, client-centred care in consultation with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team
• Monitoring, evaluating and documenting client progress in line with professional and legal standards
• Administering and reviewing medications, treatments and clinical interventions
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and making referrals as required to support client outcomes
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives

How You’ll Benefit

You’ll become part of the Ozcare family, and in addition to the training and support that you would expect, you will also receive:

Role Requirements

• Candidates with the availability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7:30am - 4:00pm) will be held in high regard.
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
