Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is seeking a Perioperative Nurse to join the Theatre team across our Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala campuses. You will work within the perioperative department, delivering nursing care across orthopaedics, gynaecology, general ophthalmology, ENT, dental and endoscopy, without on-call requirements.

To succeed you must be registered with AHPRA, have postgraduate perioperative nursing studies, recent clinical experience, strong communication and time-management

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate studies in perioperative nursing.
• Recent clinical experience with well developed clinical, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time management and organisational skills.
• Competent computer skills with knowledge of patient management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple specialties including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental and Endoscopy.
• The role does not require an on-call commitment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kyabram District Health Services in our perioperative department.The diverse range of surgical specialties are performed including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental and Endoscopy.The position does not require an \"on call\".
