Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service in rural Victoria is seeking a Community Care Worker to provide high‑quality support to frail, aged and disabled clients at home and in the community, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

You will work in a team with person‑centred care, follow routine daily schedules with limited supervision, and demonstrate KDHS values of empathy, wellbeing and community; a Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (or equivalent), First Aid, a registered

  • Ability to follow routine daily work schedules with limited supervision and working knowledge of OH&S responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to role model KDHS values of Empathy, Wellbeing and Community and the “Everyone is a caregiver” philosophy.
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Current First Aid (Level II)
  • A registered and insured motor vehicle
  • Good time management and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to demonstrate KDHS values of empathy, wellbeing and community.
  • Computer skills.

About the Role
