The Women’s and Children’s Health Network in Adelaide is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to join the Paediatric Outpatient Department. You will deliver nursing care, coordinate services and work within a multidisciplinary team to support children and their families.

Competitive salary from AU$79,381 to AU$108,331 plus 12% superannuation, salary packaging benefits and relocation assistance where eligible.

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

About the role

Make a difference in the lives of children and their families as a Registered Nurse within our Paediatric Outpatient Department. Deliver nursing care, coordinate services, and support children with a wide range of needs while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team!

Key duties of the role

• Assess, plan, implement and coordinate care and appropriate service delivery options.
• Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalated appropriately.
• Regularly communicate changes in care planning to appropriate staff.
• Provide health promotion and education to patients and their families to improve health outcomes.
• Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines to meet individual health care needs.

Skills and Experience

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered General Nurse within a healthcare setting
• Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills.
