Job summary

Kawana Private Hospital, part of Cura Day Hospitals Group, seeks a Registered Nurse with PACU experience for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. The successful candidate will provide high-standard nursing care, adhere to safe work practices, and thrive in a multidisciplinary team within a modern day hospital setting.

Ophthalmic experience is preferred but not essential; ongoing education and development are supported, with a focus on work-life balance and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years clinical experience in PACU.
• Ophthalmic experience (preferred).
• Exceptional clinical skills.
• Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices.
• The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care.
• Ophthalmology experience desirable, not essential.

Job description

Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited, multi-disciplinary day hospital with four operating theatres, delivering a diverse range of surgical services. Our modern facility includes a recovery ward for extended stays. We are known for our supportive culture, strong clinical standards and genuine commitment to work life balance. The hospital operates Monday to Friday only.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with PACU experience to join our team on a full-time basis.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

At least 2 years clinical experience in PACU

Ophthalmic experience (preferred)

Exceptional clinical skills

Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices

The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care

Ophthalmology experience desirable, not essential
