Somerset Private Hospital is seeking an experienced PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our team on either a part-time basis (3-4 shifts per week) or full-time basis. You will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality care across a range of specialties in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Applicants should have minimum 2 years’ PACU experience, AHPRA registration, and flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts.

• Anaesthetics experience (desirable).
• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
• Current right to work in Australia.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our team on either a part-time basis (3-4 shifts per week) or full-time basis. You will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality care across a range of specialties in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities and requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in PACU
• Anaesthetics experience (desirable)
• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient safety
• Experience across orthopaedic, ophthalmology and paediatric surgical specialties desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work across different specialties
• Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum two years’ experience in PACU
• National Criminal History Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current right to work in Australia
