Job summary

Villa Maria Unanderra in NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a compassionate, relationship-centred team delivering high-quality clinical care to residents. This permanent night-duty role offers schedule flexibility and leadership on shift.

You will report to the Care Manager and provide coaching to support a positive, safe environment while upholding clinical standards and aged care requirements. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• 2+ years' nursing experience, ideally including aged care.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong clinical knowledge of ageing and age-related health conditions.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
• Strong communication and emotional-intelligence skills.

The role

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working night duty 21:30 - 0715 on the following rostered days:

• Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Reporting to the Care Manager, you'll provide high-quality clinical nursing care to residents while playing an important leadership role within the care team. You will:

• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Support a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents and colleagues
• Apply your clinical judgement and expertise to identify and respond to changing resident needs
• Follow clinical, safety and organisational policies and procedures

What you'll bring:

We're looking for an RN who combines strong clinical capability with genuine warmth and compassion. You'll have:

• Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• 2+ years' nursing experience, ideally including aged care
• Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Strong clinical knowledge of ageing and age-related health conditions
• The confidence to coach, mentor and support care staff
• Strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional-intelligence skills
• A positive, collaborative approach and competent IT skills
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance
