Job summary

Yarrawonga Health is seeking Health Care Workers to support residents across Warrina Residential Care and Allawah Memory Support Unit. Roles are permanent part-time or casual, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, nights, including weekends and public holidays.

Staff receive mentoring, education and development opportunities, and salary packaging is available. A police check is required prior to commencement, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate III in Ageing/Disability or equivalent.
• Essential: Previous Health/Aged Care or support role experience.
• Essential: Compassionate, patient-centred care.
• Desirable: First Aid Level 1 certificate.

About the role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Workers to join our team across Warrina Residential Care and Allawah Memory Support Unit. In this role, you will support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful environment while helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, your responsibilities will include personal care, assistance with daily living, and creating positive interactions that support our residents' physical and emotional well-being.

We offer flexibility with shift patterns available across mornings, afternoons, and some nights, Monday through Sunday, to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

As we provide 24/7 care, you must be available to work nights, weekends and public holidays

Selection Criteria

Essential (All Applicants):

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) – CHC33021 or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Health, Aged Care, or support role
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
• Ability to work nights, public holidays and weekends.

Desirable (Qualified Applicants):

• Current Level 1 First Aid certificate
