NSW Health at Nepean Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will provide highly skilled neonatal nursing with family-centred care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support newborns and their families.

The role offers flexible rosters (day/evening/night) and opportunities to advance, including Graduate Certificate in Neonatal ICU, within a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated Neonatal Nursing experience and willingness to obtain Graduate Certificate in Neonatal ICU.
• Person-centred, family-inclusive care with culturally sensitive practice.
• Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multi-disciplinary care.
• Strong written and verbal communication and commitment to professional development.

What you will bring to the role

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Neonatal Nursing and willingness to obtain Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing
• Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
