Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group in Horsham, Victoria, is seeking a caring Enrolled Nurse to join its aged care team. You will work closely with the Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and wound management.

The role requires current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, at least 6 months in acute or aged care, and the ability to work across rotations, including mornings, afternoons and nights. Equal opportunity employer.

• Familiarity with SARAH preferred; able to learn quickly.
• Organised and reliable, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support personal care workers and respond to health changes.

• Employment Type: Permanent Part Time and Casual positions available.
• Roster- Monday to Sunday, including weekend shifts. Morning, afternoon and night shifts available.

Some of the key responsibilities are administration of medication, wound management, developing and updating care plans whilst maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Work well with other staff and health professionals to provide respectful, safe, and person-centred care.
• Follow care plans and workplace policies to give quality nursing care.
• Guide and support personal care workers in their daily tasks when needed.
• Notice changes in a consumer’s health and report or act on them, including contacting doctors or family if required.

What You Will Need

• AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 6 months experience working in acute or aged care
• Familiarity with SARAH is preferred; however, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly is also acceptable
• Able to keep things running smoothly, even during busy times.
• Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate requiring current National Police Clearance. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
