Job summary

Australian Unity in Mornington is seeking a Registered Nurse Grade 3 to lead and coordinate clinical and care needs for Residential Aged Care residents, ensuring high-standard service delivery.

You will model leadership behaviours, manage a rotating 20-hour roster across days and nights, and collaborate with site management and central support to deliver personalized, compliant aged care services aligned with residents’ wellbeing and preferences.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience and knowledge regarding AN-ACC funding and NQIP reporting.
• Knowledge of ACQSC accreditation, procedures and standards.
• Desirable - tertiary qualifications in Business or similar and/or a minimum of one year equivalent management experience.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and Influenza 2025.
• Accomplished People Leader with proven experience delivering coaching and performance management while fostering a values-based culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of customer-centred, compliant aged care services with site management and central support.
• Collaborate with Clinical Care Manager to ensure Wellbeing-aligned services including Food, Lifestyle, Allied Health and Additional Services under Better Together Plus.
• Partner with Retirement and Assisted Living teams to support end-to-end Better Together value and occupancy opportunities.
• Operate as role model for leadership behaviours and develop high quality team members aligned to Australian Unity culture.

Our home atRacecourse Grange in Morningtoncomprisesof 127 bed and provides customers with a continuum of options from independence through to clinical care and memory support. It offers state-of-the-art facility’ within a light filled interior, on-site café, private dining facilities, hair salon and spa, and gym along with many other activities in the Peninsula precinct.

Your New Role:

We currently have a vacancies for Registered Nurse Grade 3 , you will lead and supportthe coordination of all clinical and care needs for Residential Aged Care residents, and ensure that service delivery is met to a high standard.

Responsibilities will include:

• Role model the aspired Leadership behaviours to source, lead, develop and retain high quality team members aligned to the Australian Unity culture.
• Night Shift
• Support the clinical and care delivery across the RAC facility
• Lead the effective delivery of a range of customer - centred and compliant aged care services through collaboration with the site management team and central support services
• Work closely with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure RAC residents receive services of the required standard to enhance their Wellbeing and Align with their preferences and needs for non-clinical services - including Food, Lifestyle, Allied Health and Additional Services under Better Together Plus develop and implement actions within the Annual Operation Plan ensuring all targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with Retirement and Assisted Living Community Teams (as opportunities present) to support the delivery of the end to end Better Together customer value proposition including the identification of suitable RAC occupancy and service delivery opportunities.
• The role Perm Part time 20 hours per week rotating roster over Monday through to Sundaymust have 3 years experience in Aged care.
