Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients attending the general practice clinic, including assessments, wound management, and patient education.
• Administer medications and vaccinations under clinical direction and in accordance with legislative requirements
• Perform routine clinical observations including vital signs monitoring and basic diagnostic procedures
• Assist practitioners during consultations and minor procedures as required
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Support infection prevention and control measures and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
• Provide compassionate patient support and health promotion advice within the general practice setting
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Assist with recalls and cold chain management
