St George Visiting Nurses – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about Wound Care to join our In-Home Community care team. REGISTERED NURSE - IN HOME CARE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate and knowledgable about Wound Care, to join our In-Home Community care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in aged care/disability nursing within the Sydney metro area, providing vital support to elderly and vulnerable members of our community within their home. This role is integral to supporting our clinical staff and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Wound Care resource person – lead, direct, review, report
• General Clinical Care provision and support: compression, continence, catheters, medication
• Role model for the delivery of quality wholistic care and safe practice

About you

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience as a Community Nurse, Aged Care or Disability Care is desirable
• Strong clinical skills background, particularly in Wound Care
• Excellent documentation and report writing skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral and an ability to liaise effectively with other staff members as well as with a wide range of clients from culturally diverse backgrounds
• Current Police check and Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
• Working rights in Australia
• Driver's licence and RELIABLE CAR
• Genuinely interested and passionate about caring for those in our community
