Job summary

ContractCare Recruitment invites experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join its casual pool across metro Sydney private hospitals. You choose your availability and we match you with shifts, with support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions.
• At least 2 years’ recent ICU experience in Australia.
• Experience with ventilated patients, invasive monitoring, vasoactive infusions and CRRT (desirable).
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care or Intensive Care (desirable).
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients within ICU teams.
• Cover shifts across mornings, afternoons, nights, including weekends.
• Work in HDU/CCU wards as needed and adapt to varying ICU settings.

ContractCare Workforce is looking for experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our casual pool, supporting intensive care units across private hospitals in metro Sydney.

About the role

You’ll provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients, working alongside multidisciplinary ICU teams. Shifts are available across mornings, afternoons and nights, including weekends, with a mix of short-notice and pre-booked work.

We are also interested in hearing from nurses experienced across HDU and CCU wards too!

What you’ll need

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions
• At least 2 years’ recent ICU experience in Australia
• Experience with ventilated patients, invasive monitoring, vasoactive infusions and CRRT
• Current ALS or BLS certification
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care or Intensive Care (desirable but not essential)
• National Police Check and Working With Children Check
• Vaccinations in line with NSW requirements
• Full Australian working rights
