Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our 19-bed unit in Sydney's North West corridor. You will provide expert nursing care to complex patients and work with a professional team in a varied role.

Requirements include recent ICU experience, Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration, with desirable post-graduate ICU certification and ALS qualification. A focus on patient care and continuous improvement is essential.

  We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic and experienced ICU nurses to provide expert nursing care to complex patients for the 19 bed ICU unit.

  As a Registered Nurse ICU your responsibilities will include

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

  The hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. The hospital has 277 beds and a high-acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.

  About You

  • Recent Clinical experience in an ICU unit
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA and Australian Working Rights
  • Post Graduate Certificate in ICU or working towards (desirable)
  • Current ALS qualifications (desirable)
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
  • Working with Children check
