Job summary

Dialysis Australia is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver home haemodialysis care in Miranda, NSW, providing direct patient care in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient setting and coordinating services across the home environment.

You will educate patients and families, mentor junior staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while enjoying a flexible, supportive work environment and competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent Haemodialysis experience.
• Australian Working Rights.
• Demonstrated competency in planning patient care, clinical problem-solving, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and comprehensive dialysis care in patients’ homes, including individual case management.
• Plan and coordinate services, including collaboration with other disciplines or agencies.
• Deliver education, counselling, and group support aimed at improving patients’ health outcomes.
• Mentor and support newer or less experienced staff.
• Participate in quality improvement programs, policy development, and clinical research initiatives.

About The Role

What You'll Need:

Willingness to complete:

• Police Check
• Working with Children’s Check
• Obtain a current ALS and BLS Certification
