Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care, Tamworth Community Aged Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a holiday relief role. You will deliver person-centred care and support to residents, working with the broader care team to cover planned and unplanned staff leave.

This role requires flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, night, weekend, and public holidays, with 64–76 hours per fortnight and a commitment to continuity of care throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential aged care as an RN.
• Proficient with electronic systems.
• Able to work 64–76 hours per fortnight.
• National Police Check within the last 12 months.
• Current First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care to residents and work collaboratively with the care team.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide person-centered care and support to our residents while working collaboratively with the broader care team. These positions are specifically designed to provide coverage for planned and unplanned staff leave within the home.

Due to the nature of this role, a successful applicant must be available to work across a variety of shifts and days as required.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for these positions, applicantsmust meet all of the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in residential aged care as an RN
• Proficient with electronic systems
• Ability to work 64–76 hours per fortnight
• No restrictions on hours, days, or shift availability
• Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required
• Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
• Current First Aid

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and compassionate RN who can seamlessly support the home during periods of staff leave. Flexibility and availability are essential, as this role requires a team member who can respond to changing roster requirements and provide consistent care coverage throughout the year.
