Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia in Melbourne's Fitzroy is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with endoscopy experience to join our Endoscopy team. You will demonstrate strong critical thinking, advanced patient assessment and clinical skills, delivering high-quality patient care in a busy setting.

The role requires 24 hours per week on a permanent, part‑time basis, with a focus on patient flow, accurate records and teamwork within the Endoscopy Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing Degree with AHPRA registration.
• Previous experience in an Endoscopy Suite is essential.
• Knowledge of HICMR/GESA and AS5369 standards.
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standard of nursing care to patients.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate nursing records.
• Ensure effective admission and discharge processes of patients.
• Liaise with patient, patient's family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested.
• Meet and understand the requirements of HICMR/GESA and AS5369.

• Maintain timely and accurate nursing records

• Liaise with patient, patient's family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested

Classifications for this position will range between YP3 - YP9 ($86,580.00 - $107,510.00 per annum, pro rata).

About the Endoscopy Department

SVHM Endoscopy suite consists of 3 procedural rooms that undertake a range of procedures from Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary and Colorectal specialists. Suite runs Monday - Friday.
