Juniper Aged Care Esperance invites experienced Registered Nurses to join our supportive residential aged care team in Esperance. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates, with accommodation provided.

In this role you will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals, and implement and review person-centered care plans. You will guide care staff and uphold high standards of clinical care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years’ experience as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent).
• Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills.
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
• Sound understanding of medication systems.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing.
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their families.
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staff.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
• Support AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice.
• Participate in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement initiatives.

We are looking for compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses who are passionate about aged care and open to relocating to Esperance. Visa sponsorship may also be available for eligible Registered Nurses already residing in Australia.
