Job summary

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit on a casual basis at Nepean Hospital. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, specialised environment.

Ideal candidate will hold current AHPRA registration, have acute hospital experience, and preferably Endoscopy or perioperative nursing. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients through their endoscopy journey and

Qualifications

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate experience in an Acute Hospital setting; Endoscopy or Perioperative nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in the Endoscopy Unit.
• Support patients through their endoscopy journey within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment.

What you will bring to the role

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
• Significant post graduate experience in an Acute Hospital. Recent experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative Nursing preferable
• Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Able to perform effectively as a team member
