Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department in Wangaratta, VIC. We offer Full or Part Time ongoing and fixed term contracts with up to 80 hours per fortnight, a busy ED environment and ongoing skills development.

Successful applicants will hold current nurse registration; postgraduate qualification is preferred. We value strong communication, teamwork and commitment to our regional health care mission in the northeast.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration is required.
• Postgraduate certificate is preferred.
• Experience in Emergency and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Desire to participate in ongoing skills development and commitment to the hospital's strategic plan.

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

NHW has multiple full time, part time and fixed term positions available for energetic and enthusiastic Registered Nurse’s to join our bustling Emergency Department.

To fulfil these roles, the successful applicants will possess a current registration, a post graduate certificate is prefered, and previous experience in Emergency, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a desire to be involved in ongoing skills development, and commitment to achieving the hospital and wards strategic plan.
