Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) seeks a Registered Nurse with postgraduate critical care qualifications to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering patient-centred care. You will provide safe, evidence-based nursing across acute, sub-acute, aged care and community settings in the Central Hume region.

You’ll work within a collaborative team, uphold Nursing and Midwifery Board standards, and be accountable for your clinical practice while contributing to our values and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse registration and relevant postgraduate critical care qualifications.
• Commitment to Nursing and Midwifery Board standards and NHW Nursing and Midwifery Capability Framework.
• Strong understanding of scope of practice, clinical accountability and professional responsibility.

Your role

You’ll be responsible for delivering comprehensive, safe and evidence-based care while maintaining accountability for your clinical practice. You’ll regularly assess your own scope of practice and competence and ensure your practice reflects current standards and best practice.
