Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Day Infusion Unit in a permanent, part-time role working 16 hours per week, based in South Brisbane. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred infusions and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Day Infusion Unit in this permanent, part-time opportunity working 16hrs per week (0.4 FTE) based at South Brisbane.

This is a rewarding, patient-facing opportunity to work within a specialised infusion service, where you will play a key role in coordinating care, delivering treatments, and supporting patients through their treatment journey in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $18,550 +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care while supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Infusion Unit, including:

• Coordinating patient flow and completing comprehensive nursing assessments
• Administering infusions and monitoring patient responses to treatment
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and scheduling information
• Using effective clinical problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
• Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

About you

You are a dedicated Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a patient-focused, outpatient environment and values teamwork, quality care, and clear communication. You will bring:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• A minimum of two years’ full-time equivalent clinical experience
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, patient-facing role
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
• Competence in intravenous and peripheral access and administering infusions
• Confidence using electronic clinical systems and maintaining accurate documentation
