Job summary

Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Day Infusion Unit in a permanent, part-time role (0.4 FTE, 16 hours per week) at South Brisbane. You will coordinate care, administer infusions, educate patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment journeys in a patient-centred environment.

The role offers a salary range of A$44.06–A$56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to salary packaging up to A$18,550, along with staff benefits

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of two years’ full-time equivalent clinical experience.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, patient-facing role.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care.
• Competence in intravenous and peripheral access and administering infusions.
• Confidence using electronic clinical systems and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient flow and completing comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Administering infusions and monitoring patient responses to treatment.
• Providing patient education, support, and discharge planning.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and scheduling information.
• Using effective clinical problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
• Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
