Job summary

Ashfield Baptist Homes is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join Bethel Home Care, delivering in-home clinical care across Sydney's Inner West and South. Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and pressure injury management.
• Catheter insertion and management (IDC/SPC).
• PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support.
• Medication administration and safe handling.

Part-Time | Inner West & South Sydney | Potential to increase hours

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a role where you can build genuine relationships with clients and have greater flexibility in your working day?

Bethel Home Care is growing, and we're looking for a Part-Time Registered Nurse (15 hours per week, can be over 2 or 3 days) to join our friendly and supportive community care team.

We support older people through Support at Home and Commonwealth Home Support Programs, providing personalised care that helps clients remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

This is more than a clinical role. You'll get to know your clients, manage your own day and see the difference your care makes.

About the Role

You'll visit clients in their homes across Sydney's Inner West and South, providing clinical care to clients with a range of needs.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, organise your travel and structure your working day.

The role is initially part-time, with the opportunity to increase your hours and potentially move to full-time as the service and your caseload grow.

Your day may include:

• Wound care and pressure injury management
• Catheter insertion and management (IDC/SPC)
• PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support
• Medication administration
• Continence assessments and product recommendations
• Clinical reviews and care planning
• Clinical documentation and oversight
• Building ongoing relationships with clients and their families

Importantly, this isn't about rushing from one appointment to the next. You'll have the opportunity to build real relationships with clients through repeat visits and ongoing care.

While you'll spend much of your day visiting clients, Ashfield Baptist Homes is your home base.

About You

We're looking for a Registered Nurse who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine passion for people.

You'll be someone who:

• Is registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Is confident working independently in the community
• Has a caring, patient and empathetic approach
• Communicates well with clients, families and other health professionals
• Can organise your own workload and manage competing priorities
• Has a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Enjoys building relationships rather than simply completing appointments

Community or aged care nursing experience is highly regarded.
