Job summary

Charingfield Aged Care Community in Sydney's eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred care in our 68-bed facility in Waverley. Casual shifts available, with flexible scheduling and a compassionate approach to resident wellbeing.

The role focuses on holistic assessments, individualized care planning, wound and palliative care, and close collaboration with medical and allied health teams.

Qualifications

AHPRA registration is required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
Experience in providing clinical care in aged care.
NDIS check (or willingness to obtain).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives.
Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans.
Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
Liaison with medical and allied health care staff.
Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about a person-centred approach to care, to join our beautiful 68 bed facility located in the leafy suburb of Waverley. Joining Casual, it is essential to have experience in a residential aged care environment, have flexible shift availability, and have a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents.
