Job summary
NSW Health at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Day Stay and Cath Lab. The role involves pre/post care, lab scrubbing, and on-call duties within a dynamic cardiovascular unit.
This temporary full-time position offers weekly remuneration between AU$1,566.69 and AU$2,199.59, with annual leave loading and superannuation. Location is Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Current Cath Lab experience is beneficial for the role.
- More than 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute settings (ICU/ED/CCU).
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to participate in on-call roster and respond within 30 minutes.
- Strong teamwork and ability to work unsupervised during high demand.
- Capacity to wear lead gowns for radiation protection.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Day Stay Unit.
- Rotate to Cath Lab to scrub/scout for interventional procedures.
- Contribute to 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
