Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join the 2C Cardiac Medical Ward. You will deliver patient-centred care, support telemetry monitoring and assist those undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Two years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Strong clinical skills in acute nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality and patient-centred nursing care in the Cardiac Medical Ward.
• Provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Support patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
• Monitor patients' clinical condition and respond to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per legislation and policies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in handovers and continuity of care.
• Promote dignity, privacy, safety and wellbeing.
• Support quality improvement and clinical governance.

Join the friendly 2C Cardiac Medical Ward at Pindara Private Hospital as a Part-Time Registered Nurse. Supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse range of patients requiring telemetry monitoring and support those undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.

About You

You are a passionate Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and experience in an acute care environment. You thrive in a collaborative and supportive team and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Cardiac experience is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality and patient-centred nursing care to patients within the Cardiac Medical Ward
• Provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Support patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care
• Monitor patients' clinical condition and recognise and upscale changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in clinical handovers and contribute to continuity of care
• Promote patient dignity, privacy, safety and wellbeing
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
• Support quality improvement, clinical governance and professional nursing standards

You Will Also Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum two years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
• Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of acute nursing care
• Previous cardiology experience, preferred but not essential
• Ability to act as In-Charge after hours, highly desirable but not essential
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A strong commitment to patient-centred care and customer service
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including day, evening and night shifts

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $39.96-54.01 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1, Grades 1-8).
