Job summary

Royal North Shore Hospital’s Haematology Department in Sydney is seeking a permanent full-time Registered Nurse for the outpatient team to care for patients undergoing apheresis, venesection and bone marrow biopsy procedures. The outpatient RN also supports patients receiving cellular and CAR-T therapies.

All RNs receive training and close support from Clinical Nurse Consultants, Educators and Specialists, and NSLHD emphasises inclusive workplaces where staff feel respected and can thrive.

Qualifications

• Current clinical knowledge with haematology, neurology, renal nursing or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing apheresis, venesection and bone marrow biopsy procedures.
• Support patients undergoing cellular and CAR-T therapies in the outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, quality care.

The Haematology Department at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking a permanent full time Registered Nurse (RN) for their outpatient team. The successful candidate will be caring for patients undergoing apheresis, venesection and bone marrow biopsy procedures. The outpatient haematology RN also plays an active role in the care for patients undergoing cellular and CAR-T therapies.

All RNs are provided with training and close support from Clinical Nurse Consultants, Educators and Specialists.

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
