Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support Ward 8E Haematology/Transplant at Royal North Shore Hospital. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a complex Haematology setting, including chemotherapy, transplantation and transfusion support.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and excellent communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with AHPRA.
• Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients requiring chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation.
• Manage care for patients receiving radiotherapy and blood products.
• Collaborate with the NUM, CNE and CNC on ward 8E to deliver high-quality Haematology/Transplant care.
