Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT – Broken Hill NSW is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our compassionate care teams across residential aged care homes. Full-time, part-time, casual roles and 12-month contracts may be available in Broken Hill.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged care and knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care.
• Strong clinical focus in assessing, planning and implementing client care.
• Demonstrated skills in care planning and evaluation documentation.
• Demonstrated competence in medication management and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• You enjoy working in a team environment.
• You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to residents in our aged care home.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager and supervise team members.
• Liaise with medical practitioners, families and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure best possible outcomes to residents.
