Job summary

Respect Ingham Lodge is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to provide safe, contemporary clinical nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit aged-care setting in Ingham, QLD. You will work under the Care Manager and General Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports wellbeing, dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Current National Police Certificate.
• Understanding government standards for aged care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Understanding aged care accreditation process.

Responsibilities

• Compile resident histories and assess care needs at admissions and ongoing reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans and assist with admissions assessments.
• Provide direct clinical care including personal hygiene, pain management, and GP rounds participation.
• Administer medications following organisational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve resident outcomes.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.
