Job summary

LDK Seniors Living is seeking a Registered Nurse for Amberfield village in Canberra’s inner south. You will deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents and supervise Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, supporting clinical decisions within regulatory requirements.

The role requires three+ years RN experience, current AHPRA registration, and prior aged care or community care exposure.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a minimum three years’ experience.
• Current AHPRA registration in good standing.
• Experience in the Aged Care or Community Care setting is desirable.
• Competence in medication management, clinical assessment and documentation.
• Ability to use nursing technology and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care aligned with scope of practice and standards.
• Provide care in line with residents’ plans, dignity, independence and cultural safety.
• Undertake holistic assessments, monitor outcomes and evaluate care interventions.
• Escalate changes promptly and coordinate with GPs, PNs and allied health.
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants and guide junior staff.
• Manage wound care, chronic disease and palliative care within RN scope.
• Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance across care activities.
