Job summary

NSW Health in rural New South Wales is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Rylstone Multi-Purpose Service. You will work across Emergency, Acute Ward and Residential Aged Care units with autonomy and strong clinical judgement.

Triage and ALS qualifications are required, and you will be supported by senior staff in a well‑structured team. This 7‑day rotating roster role emphasises clinical excellence, leadership and collaboration in a small, diverse facility.

Qualifications

  • Current Triage and ALS qualifications are required.
  • Experience in Emergency is required.
  • Ability to work across Emergency, Acute Ward and Residential Aged Care units.

About the role

Looking for a nursing role where you truly use all your skills and feel valued for your clinical judgement? Join the Rylstone Multipurpose Service nursing team and work in a well-supported rural facility where your autonomy, confidence and decision-making are not only trusted - they’re essential.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with the ability to work between Emergency, Acute Ward and Residential Aged Care units. You will have current Triage and ALS qualifications. Demonstrated Emergency experience is required.

The successful applicant will have excellent clinical skills, ability to work in high pressure situations, have good leadership skills, good communication skills, work collaboratively, be able to problem solve and have the ability to use technology.
You will work closely and be supported by the Nurse Manager and Health Service Manager along with educators and other senior staff members.

We are a small facility with a diverse range of skilled staff including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistant in nursing along with administration and support services.

This position will be on a 7 day rotating roster.
