Job summary

YackandandahHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide overnight clinical care across four night shifts per fortnight in our 83-bed residential aged care home. You will report to the Care Manager and lead care planning, medication management, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in providing clinical care in the aged care sector.
• NDIS Check (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives.
• Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans.
• Supervision and support for Personal Care Workers.
• Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management.
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff.
• Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach.
