Qualifications

  • NMBA registration is required for Enrolled Nurse role.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Enrolled Nurses to join our growing team on a Casual Basis.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurses to join our nursing teams across a range of clinical areas. Working under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses, you will provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care that supports positive patient outcomes. The role of the Enrolled Nurse is to:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice, ensuring patient wellbeing, dignity, and independence are supported at all times.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, contributing to timely clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation in accordance with organisational policies, legislative requirements, and clinical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to support coordinated, person-centred care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and safety activities to support high standards of clinical practice.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Enrolled Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing experience with the ability to provide safe and effective patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Committed to continuous learning, quality improvement, and upholding the values of integrity, respect, compassion, and teamwork.
