Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Registered Nurse for a fixed-term opportunity, joining our clinical team to deliver high-quality care to residents in a warm, home-like environment.

You will coordinate clinical care, maintain accreditation readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement, with emphasis on effective communication and care planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
• Evidence of recent practice or active clinical work.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating aged care residents.
• Working knowledge of accreditation standards.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to write care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to residents and support to the clinical team.
• Assist with care planning and documentation.
• Uphold safety and compliance with WHS and aged care regulations.

Job description

Weare currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a fixed term opportunity. You will be an essential member of our clinical team, delivering high-quality care and support to residents and contributing to the warm, home-like environment Anglicare is known for.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in the coordination and clinical evaluation of aged care residents.
• Working knowledge of accreditation standards and Aged Care Funding Tool or the ability to acquire.
• Demonstrate competence in clinical and problem solving skills.
• Well developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise care plans.
• Ability to work effectively, respectfully and collegially in team environment.
• Knowledge of quality management and continuous improvement process.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements of residential aged care including the Aged Care Act and Workplace Health and Safety regulations and requirements.

Mandatory requirements:

• Current National Police Check OR NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Degree in Nursing
• Current registration with AHPRA and evidence of recent practice
